Chrani and Surrounding Areas
- Chrani - It is located on the coast with a vast sand/pebble beach. Here you can find a few tavernas, "The Garden" ("O Kipos" in Greek), "Hellas", etc., a supermarket "TSAMPOUKOS" on the main road, next to the souvlaki place "Jimmy’s" and a bakery across the road.
- Petalidi – A small town that you may find a few more amenities. The distance to our house is around 9 km. There is a recommended fish tavern called "To pareaki tis.. Argo".
- Aghios Andreas – A typical seaside village 3-4 km away from our house. Here you may find a few more choices. We recommend the taverna "Zorbas" but there is also an italian restaurant "Rio" and others. Also, there are a couple of cafes and ice cream places that you can enjoy by sitting next to the village’s small fishermans’ harbor. There is also a pharmacy that it is open mostly during weekdays.
- Nea Koroni - A typical small town just before Charakopio, there you may find a super market called "Petroulakis".
- Koroni – The picturesque seaside town of Koroni lies about 15 km from our house. The town is amphitheatrically built on a low-lying hill. It will enchant you with the stone-paved little streets, narrow back streets and a large number of churches. Avoid driving into the town during high tourist seasons.
